Bounced Message Exceptions

You can have further control over processing of bounced messages to your subscription list by specifying phrases that if found in a bounced message will cause this subscriber to be excluded form the bounce log. The usefulness of this is there are occasions when a message may be bounced back form a current subscriber due to them being on vacation and setting there email application to automatically respond with and "out of office" or "vacation" message. Adding such phrases to your exclusion list will cause bounces form these subscribers to be ignored. *Be careful not to add phrases or words that may cause a legitimate bounced message to be overlooked.

You simply enter the exclusion phrase and click the "Add New" button, to update an existing phrase use tech update (top) portion of this screen. You can assign exclusions individually to a specific list, they do not apply to all lists in the system.
